Jasmine Dragon Pearl | green tea
Most jasmine teas are surprisingly easy to brew wrong. A small mistake with temperature or timing, and bitterness shows up quickly—partly because truly good green tea is rarely used as the base for jasmine tea in the first place.
This tea feels different. It’s light and forgiving, with a clean, comfortable texture. Even when brewed a little stronger, it remains gentle on the palate, allowing the jasmine aroma to stay clear and present rather than becoming heavy or muddled.
The dry pearls are tightly rolled and quietly refined, carrying a soft jasmine scent that feels natural rather than perfumed. In the cup, the liquor is pale and transparent, and the fragrance opens gradually—fresh, bright, and unmistakably jasmine, yet always restrained.
What I appreciate most is how easy this tea is to live with. The sweetness comes through cleanly, the floral notes linger without clinging, and the green tea base stays calm in the background. It doesn’t demand precision or attention; it simply offers consistency and ease.
That balance—lightness without thinness, jasmine presence without bitterness—is why this became our first jasmine tea. It’s a tea we feel comfortable drinking often, and just as comfortable sharing.
