Snow Mountain Old tree Sheng Pu-erh | dark tea

This sheng (raw) pu-erh comes from ancient tea trees growing in the high mountains of Mengku Da Xue Shan, located in the Lincang region of Yunnan—one of the core origins of sheng pu-erh tea. Known for producing teas with strength, clarity, and vibrant energy.

The liquor shows a bright, lively acidity reminiscent of red dates and plum, followed by layers of structured bitterness, mineral depth, and a returning sweetness that lingers on the palate. With careful gongfu brewing, notes of fresh fruit, gentle wood, and mountain freshness gradually unfold, reflecting the energetic character typical of Mengku raw pu-erh.

Mengku Da Xue Shan is home to one of the most intact wild ancient tea forest ecosystems, growing at high altitude with preserved original vegetation. These ancient trees have adapted to extreme mountain conditions over centuries, contributing resilience, vitality, and depth to the tea.
