This Dan Cong “Lao Cha Tou” （Old tea heads）is made from mature leaves and leaf stems traditionally removed during the first and second rounds of sorting. While often overlooked, these parts of the tea plant are naturally rich in amino acids and retain much of the cultivar’s aromatic compounds.
