Red Jade Shou Mei is an uncommon Taiwanese white tea crafted from the Hong Yu cultivar (TTES No.18), a tea variety celebrated for its naturally cooling and aromatic character. Made only once each spring from the season’s earliest tender pickings, this small-batch tea is entirely hand-crafted using traditional white tea processing without rolling or heavy oxidation, preserving the leaves’ delicate structure and vivid fragrance.

Unlike conventional Shou Mei, this tea carries the unmistakable signature of Red Jade: fresh eucalyptus, soft camphor, wild mint, and warm spice layered over the gentle sweetness of white tea. The young spring leaves and abundant buds create a liquor that feels thick, smooth, and deeply aromatic while remaining exceptionally soft and clean.

The cup opens with uplifting herbal coolness and subtle cinnamon-like spice, followed by notes of honey, dried fruit, and sweet florals. Its texture is silky and rounded, with a lingering refreshing finish that continues to evolve through multiple infusions.

Both comforting and vibrant, it offers the airy elegance of white tea with the distinctive personality of Taiwan’s iconic Red Jade cultivar.
