Deeper Baked Wenshan Bao Zhong | oolong tea
Wenshan Baozhong is one of Taiwan’s most refined lightly oxidized oolongs. The name "Baozhong" originates from an early packaging method, where tea leaves were wrapped in paper into small square parcels. Historically, this style was first developed as an adaptation of Fujian rock teas, before evolving into the distinctly fresh and floral character known today.
This deeper baked version retains Baozhong’s elegant floral core while adding warmth and structure through more pronounced roasting. The liquor opens with soft vegetal and floral notes, followed by a rounded, nutty depth reminiscent of roasted almonds and a buttery smooth finish.
Balanced between freshness and gentle roast, it offers both clarity and comfort in the cup
